With an impressive list of recent, ongoing, and upcoming development projects, our once overlooked city is starting to steal some spotlight from the big boys. In fact, Philly’s population has been increasing every year for the past decade. As one project comes to an end, another begins - a trend which doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Outdoor overhauls, record-breaking skyscrapers, and the renovation of long-neglected landmarks are changing the way the world views Philadelphia.

As summer settles in across the city, the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation is kicking off the season with the return of Spruce Street Harbor Park and the debut of the Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest. These spaces come at a time when we're all celebrating the arrival of consistently warm weather, crafting our summer "must do" list, and more importantly, as our city becomes the focus of a larger-scale discussion.

Ideas don't always come out of thin air. Rather, they're often a result of pulling inspiration and research from various places, combined with our own interpretations. That's why we've started Mood of the Moment, a regular series that showcases the inspiration behind some of our recent work.

Being a woman in 2015 is as equally exhilarating as it is frustrating. On one hand, women are blazing trails and making substantial progress towards equality with men. The more progress is made, however, the more resistance, implicit or not, seems to arise. No industry seems to be more affected by this than the tech industry. And while Philly is, fortunately, the top market for gender diversity in the tech sector, there is still progress to be made. Philly Tech Week 2015 is attempting to open the dialogue by offering events and programming that focuses on what we, as women and men focused on moving forward, can do to change things.

With our move to Center City, 2014 marked a significant year for us as an opportunity to grow a unique culture and influence positive change throughout Philadelphia. Now, we're proud to share a recognition of our work with companies who allow us to do just that. We're honored to announce that we have received two silver Davey Awards for our work this year with LPMG Companies' web presence and Penn Dining's #PennCraves campaign.
