In today's economy with advertising budgets being cut, and companies looking for the most affordable way to reach their target market, social networks have become the go to for online marketing, advertising, and public relations. Social Networks have become one of the most powerful tools for companies & brands across the globe. Facebook alone went from 63 million mobile users in 2010 to 200 million mobile users in 2011 (and 2011 isn't even over). The word of the year in 2009 was "tweet" followed by "app" in 2010. We take a pretty straight forward approach when it comes to social media. We feel there are three key guidelines to live by - Engage, Inform, and Respond.
