I met Cheers Elephant years ago, and have always been intrigued by their music. This four piece band breaks music industry barriers by weaving in a hometown electric feel, with a jumble of harmonies that can easily encourage a melting of the ears. Their sound cannot be compared to any others, yet it feels like it is music that you've been listening to your whole life. With an upcoming tour and a new album scheduled for release, we jumped at the chance to sit down for an interview with Cheers Elephant.

Chiddy Bang is to the booming new hip hop-electronic fusion genre of “mashup” music what Jay-Z was to rap in the ’90s: an underestimated pioneer. Between master sampler Xaphoon Jones (Noah Beresin) and fierce freestyle rapper Chidera “Chiddy” Anamange, Chiddy Bang has more talent in its little finger than the biggest remix DJs of New York and L.A. These Philly boys, formerly students at Drexel University, have done their city proud.

Dr. Dog's sound takes you back in time to a recording style that is unique and speaks to you personally. We had one of our writers Edan Cohen, sit down with the "Dr." of sound Bill Moriarty, Dr. Dog's Sound Engineer and studio owner, to discuss the new technologies used to record Dr. Dog's new album - Shame, Shame.

When At Media’s lead photographer Tyler R. Westnedge was asked to shoot Janelle Monae’s concert by two.one.five Magazine, and R5 Productions we were thrilled! Janelle’s performances are intoxicating, and the chance to capture moments of her beauteous stature needed to be documented! In a an industry losing momentum, Monae has excelled- cultivating a unique sound and loyal audience, working with artist such as P Diddy, Big Boi, No Doubt and Eryka Badu. Let’s just say if you have not seen this artist live in concert, you’re totally missing out.
